1. The only moving part in the Entire system is the aqua pump which circulates refrigerant, and absorbent with Result the operation is very quiet.
2. These are usually designed to operate with steam which is cheaper, and can be obtained free of cost as a byproduct of a chemical process.
3. It can operate at reduced evaporator pressure and temperature by increasing the system pressure to the generator, with little decrease in capacity, whereas the capacity of the compression system rapidly by reducing evaporator pressure.
4. In this system we can operate it at reduced load by controlling aqua solution and the amount of steam.
5. Liquid refrigerant leaving the evaporator has no bad effect on the system.
6. Its operating cost is less then the compression system because normally it is operated by gas which is cheaper, than electricity, which is used to operate the compression system.
7. The only disadvantage is that it needs more space than the compression system.
