Reason of Self Ignition

Reason of Self Ignition Points : reason of self ignition, diesel knocking, problems in internal combustion engines, ic, engine, auto diesel It is due to a hot spot of carbon, or metal, in the combustion chamber, which fires the mixture before the ignition point if reached. A diesel engine is a compression ignition engine. It compresses air until the air is hot enough to ignite the fuel. A spark plug would NOT ignite diesel fuel properly. If gasoline were used in a diesel, it would detonate on the compression stroke and not produce useful energy.
